Message to associates, February 1st, 2021
All FTP associates and staffing associates,
Please be advised that FTP was notified that an associate has tested positive for COVID-19. The associate will return to work upon completing the home isolation period. As an immediate response to protect the health and safety of our workforce, we are notifying all associates of the matter.
Based on the interview with the associates, we have confirmed that no other person has worked closely with those associates for a prolonged time for the last 14 days; thus, we believe that the risk level is extremely low.
We ask that you abide by the following federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines to protect your health and those around you:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing;
- If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer;
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands;
- Follow all recommendations provided by the CDC.
We also ask that you follow the measures we have in place in preventing the spread of COVID-19 such as facial coverings, social distancing (including inside the cafeterias), etc. Please practice these for your safety and the safety of others.
If you, or someone in your household, exhibits COVID-19 related symptoms, please notify Administration immediately so that we may track any potential outbreaks within our company. All such personal information will be maintained confidentially.It is a violation of FTP policy to misrepresent facts or falsify records, and such violations may result in corrective action up to and including separation from employment.
*Please follow our social distancing and facial covering requirements for your safety and the safety of others. Violation of this rule will be handled the same as how violations of other rules are handled – corrective action.
If you have any questions and/or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact Administration or any Group Leaders.
